Just as the name implies, FoodGuard is an IoT project that gets food containers connected. It is a food status tracking clip with Arduino module counting down the time, which communicates with the App via wifi.
It is a one-year long real project from the course of Product Development Project (PDP) in cooperation with Orthex, which is one of the biggest container manufacturers in Finland. I believe all the major companies are familiar with PDP ❤, since it has the high reputation as the bridge linking the industry and students' innovative mindset.
As had initially promised, almost €10,000 was spent on the whole process of prototyping. And we are also proud to announce that we validated great results with the working prototypes of the container clip Arduino and the App. ❤
