Haptics literally relates to the feeling of human touch, which is an interesting topic in the field of Human-Computer Interaction.

As a minor personal attempt extending from one of the projects in the course Computational User Interface Design, I implemented this web interface to imitate the feelings when people touch the bumps (mountains) and holes (valleys). I basically change the moving speed of the cursor based on its viewport position with JavaScript. Concretely, when getting closer to the bump, I decreased the cursor moving speed to give the exhausted feelings as if climbing the mountain ❤ and vice versa。
